    BAR UZUM'S AIDE AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO DESERVING PUPILS



    KOKORI :The Special Assistant (MEDIA) to the Executive Assistant /CEO (DIRECTORATE OF ORIENTATION) to Governor Okowa, Hon Barr Eugene Azuka Uzum, Comr Timothy Ogheneovo Emorhakpor has awarded Scholarships to two (2) deserving Primary Six (6) Pupils of Erhijerhe Model Primary School , Kokori Inland.

    The Pupils who happened to be Miss Monday Beauty and Samuel Okeoghene led their School to victory when they Displaced Oziegbe Primary School, Samaila Primary School, All Saint Primary school, Inland Primary Schools as well as Suprema Primary School in a Spelling Bee Contest organized by the Kokori Students Union (KOSU) in Kokori Inland.

    Amazed by the performance of the pupils, Comr Timothy Ogheneovo Emorhakpor awarded them Scholarship from Junior Secondary School (JSS) to Senior Secondary school (SSS) level.

    According to Comr Emorhakpor, since the importance of Education in National /Community building can not be over emphasised, there is the exigencies to encourage learners at all levels to take their studies seriously adding that the Prosperity For All Deltans Mantra as Enshrined in Governor Okowa's SMART AGENDA which he believes in comes through different ways and it's pertinent for Deltans at all levels to prepare to catch any SMART OPPORTUNITY that may come their way.

    He also assured the pupils and Students that the Delta State Government under the Leadership of His Excellency, Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa is poised to affects all Deltans irrespective of tribes and political divides just as he thanked Olorogun Kent Okiemute Akigho, Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Political matters for Sponsoring the 2016 edition of KOSU Quiz and Debate as well as birthing  the KOKORI EDUCATION TRUST FUND adding that gestures like this will give the people a sense of inclusion in Government.

    He also thanked very Profusely, the 2016 KOSU Executives for being resilient and committed enough to restore the glory which KOSU seems to have lost. Comr T. O EMORHAKPOR assured them that his doors are open to KOSU and that they should not hesitate to seek his attention to any assistance they desire to carry out their functions as they pilot the affairs of KOSU.
