o condole with him on the death of his father,Mr Bazim V Ilabor.
The visit was full of eulogies for the late Mr Ilabor for the impactful life that he lived,many speakers took turns to Eulogise him....
In the words of Hon P.C Ajoh,Mr Ilabor was a talanted and resourceful Community Leader,who was always available to guide and advice young leaders,he stated that the man aided him to succeed as the Secretary of Illah Development Union(IDUN)Benin Branch as he always provided moral support and guidance when ever he is called upon.
Chief Ugo Chima went down memory lane to recount of the tireless,and selfless service that the late Mr Ilabor rendered during and even after his tenure as IDUN President,in his word,"Mr Bazim Ilabor took IDUN and set it on the part of progress,he attracted influncial personalities like Mr Adabah to IDUN and other persons who were hitherto not interested in the affairs of Illah and infused in them with love and zeal to work the for the Progress of Illah Community.
Illah Ward 3 PDP Chairman,Mr Adim Ofuase while expressing the sympathy of the party to the family said that though the death of Mr Bazim Ilabor affected his family directly it was also a monumental loss to PDP family and the entire Illah People because he was a father to all,he pledged the support of PDP both morally and materially before and during the burial.
Barr Odigwe Nelson Okonmah,who doubles as the legal adviser to PDP Ward 3 as well as the Secretary general of IDUN stated that the late icon was a great asset to IDUN,he noted that the contributions he made to the Union,Illah and the society at large will remain indelible in minds of many,he conclude by decribing his passing as a great loss.
Dr Andy Ilabor in his response stated that his late father left him and his other siblings a legacy of good name,he noted that "the Big Shoe of his father will be big to wear,while thanking PDP family,he specifically thanked leaders like Hon Ajoh,Barr Frank Esenwah,Mr Osayim,Hon Chuks Onwuli and others for being there for him since the death of his father occured,he also commended Mr Adim Ofuase led EXCO for the love that has been flowing since they came on board,he urged them to continue in that spirit and extend thesame love shown to him to others,he also enlisted the support of all PDP faithfuls to enable him give his father a befitting burial.
Late Mr Bazim V Ilabor is the father of Dr Andy Ilabor,the SSA to Delta State Government on MDGs,he was a Community Leader,a Mentor,a Philantropist of high repute and father to all,his burial arrangement will be announced soon by the family.
Indeed,Illah and the entire humanity has lost a rare gem,a father,a cummunity leader and a philantropist of high repute,we will mourn his death and Continue celebrating his life contributions to humanity.
