    DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT STOPS PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF TUITION FEES BY HIGHER INSTITUTIONS: NANS AND NADESSTU PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOVERNOR OKOWA, ENGR JUDE SINEBE & COMR OKOH EZEKIEL


    Delta State Students under the umbrella body of National Association of Nigerian Students and National Association of Delta State Students rising from a stakeholders meeting have commended the State Governor Sen Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa,  Engr Jude Sinebe, Comr Okoh Ezekiel Tega for listening to the plight of Deltans especially in this hash economic times by stopping the proposed introduction of tuition fees in higher institutions.

     The decision was taken at an enlarged meeting attended by student leaders of affected institutions who were led by Comr  Pedro Obi (NANS Zone B Coordinator), Comr Ogbe Collins ( Chairman NANS JCC, Delta State axis) and Comr Shaka Emonine (NADESSTU National  President) who led other student union leaders to the meeting. After a successful deliberation and review of activities the unions passed a vote of confidence on the Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, The Honourable Commissioner, Higher Education, Engr Jude Sinebe, PA, Students Affairs to Gov. Okowa,  Comr Okoh Ezekiel Oghenetega for their concern and commitments towards the welfare of students in Delta  state.
