DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

DTSG APPROVES NEW DISCOUNT FOR THE REGULARIZATION OF LAND TITLES IN CORE AREA IIA, OKPANAM

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans, that His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has graciously approved 30% discount price for the regularization of land titles for Core Area IIA, opposite the Airport, Okpanam, for a 90 day period.
For the avoidance of doubt, this gesture by government is in a bid to give a soft landing to illegal occupants of the land as against outright seizure and or demolition of properties. Accordingly, the State Government has graciously availed the defaulters the option to now pay the following discounted token fee as against the old fee.

A.     RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS:

Old fee........N2,500,000.00
New fee.......N1,750,000.00

New fee.....N2,450,000.00

B          COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:

A Taskforce has been set up by the State Government to oversee this process.
Any illegal occupant who fails to regularize the land titles within the 90 days period will forfeit such land to the Government and properties on such lands will be demolished.

 All payments which shall cover for the Land Allocation Documents, Electronic C of O and Approved Building Plan are to be paid into the underlisted bank accounts.
