    God's Work Cannot Come To An End - Okowa

    DELTA State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has said the work of God cannot come to an end so Christians should not relent in contributing towards God's projects.


    Speaking at the 2016 harvest thanksgiving service cum fund raising ceremony of St. Michael's Anglican Church, Owa-Alero, Ika North-East local government area of the state, Senator Okowa who was the chairman of the ceremony emphasized that Christians should show strength in whatever they do because of God's blessing.

    "Remember that the work of God never comes to an end, it is a continuous process," the governor said, reiterating, "we need to show strength in everything we do because, God has blessed us in several ways."

    Governor Okowa who was accompanied by his wife, Dame Edith and prominent politicians, captains of industries from different parts of the state and beyond piloted the fundraising for the building of a new church in Owa-Alero as initiated by the Primate of All Nigeria Anglican Communion, the Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh who hails from the community.
    More than N30 million was realized at the event.

    Ven. Ezekiel Ugbotor who delivered sermon during the church service, urged Christians to always give their best to God, noting that all that is owned by man belongs to God.
