OSHIMILI NORTH PDP WOMEN LEADERS REAFFIRMED THE UNITY OF PDP,PASSED A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOV OKOWA,SEN NWAOBOSHI,HON MRAKPOR, HON MRS PAT AJUDUA AND ENDORSED OSHIMILI NORTH LGA CHAIRMAN HON LOUIS NDUKWE FOR SECOND TENURE: 14/10/2016

In a timely move geared towards  re-enforcing the dominance of Peoples Democractic Party in Oshimili North,Mrs Kate Mokobia,the woman leader of PDP in Oshimili North led ten women leaders from different wards that makes up PDP Oshimili North to Illah.

At the meeting the women re-echoed the fact that PDP is only One in Oshimili North,Delta State and Nigeria which is under the able Chairmenhip of Chief Nduka Oguda,Barr Kingsley Esiso and Sen Makarafi led Caretaker committee respectively.

They also used the occasion to pass a vote of confidence on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his prodent management of Delta State resources,similarly a Vote of confidence was passed on Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi,the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial Destrict and Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC for his vibrant representation and using his position in attracting development to the destrict, in the same vain a Vote of Confidence  was also passed on the Member representing Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency in National Assembly,Evangelist Joan Mrakpor for empowering youths and women in her constituency.

The high point of the occasion was the endorsement of Oshimili North LGA Chairman, Hon Louis Ndukwe to carry on in 2017,in the words of the women, ''Hon Louis Ndukwe has done well inspite of the scarce resources available at his disposal and therefore deserves a second tenure to continue and complete his good works''.

The gathering was hosted by Illah PDP ward 3 Woman Leader,Mrs Angela Orakue and had in attendence the ward leader Hon P.C Ajoh,the ward Chairman Mr Henry Adim Ofuase and other Party leaders.

Hon Ajoh while addressing the August Women gathering charged them to remain steadfast with PDP noting that there is no parallel Leadership in PDP whatsoever,he also took a swap at APC describing their so called empowerment form in circulation as another deceptive ploy to lure gullible persons,he also admonished the women to be confident that genuine empowerment will get to everybody at the right time,finally he  charged them to close ranks and attract more influencial personalities to swell the membership strength of the Party.
