    Delta North Resolves To Sustain The Anioma Mandate


    The nine Delta North Council Chairmen  and some leaders today, the 19th of November , 2016 , met with Sen Peter Nwaoboshi at his Ibusa residence to chat a way forward for the development and sustainability of Anioma mandate, which is to retain governorship till 2023.

    Sen Nwaoboshi in his address told  the house that the meeting  was basically on how to protect Senator Okowa's mandate till 2023, since according to him, it was  the turn of Delta North to serve for  two tenures.

    Chief Isaac Anwuzia, the  executive chairman of Aniocha South Local government council, in his speech urged all to support the ideas behind this organisation, stressing that it would help Anioma to achieve our common goals.

    The house unanimously  resolved to be known and called as ANIOMA PATRIOTIC MOVEMENT, after delibrations on several other suggested names. It was also agreed that the greeting shall be APM! while the response shall be OGANIHU ANIOMA.
    An adhoc organising committee was also agreed on to be headed by Hon Isaac Anwuzia, while Mr  Patrick Ukah, the Honourable Commisioner for Information, was to head the publicity committee.

    Sen Peter Nwaoboshi also used the opportunity  to inform the forum  he shall  unveil his PON Foundation/Delta North Empowerment Programme on the 17th of December 2016.
