The Delta State PDP Chairman Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso and his team visit Okpe Local Government Area today 7/11/2016 on a Familiarization tour to enhanced the party’s structure.
Esiso who issued this statements at the cenotaph orerokpe today, says he was brought up in Okpe Kingdom, he has been politicking in Okpe kingdom and he understand fully the Politics of the Okpe People “Okpe Local Government Area is a Stronghold of the PDP” he said.
While thanking the leaders and Party Faithfuls for receiving him and his entourage with love, he charged the Party leaders to eshew any form of hatred and backbiting for one another but to do all they can to continue to work together as brothers and sisters for the good and progress of the party, noting that is only by togetherness we as a party can succeed in all we do.
Furthermore,he thanked the people of Okpe Kingdom for their unshakeable support and commitment in Dr Ifeanyi Okowa’s led administration, he reassures the People of Okpe Kingdom of Okowa’s determination to transform all parts of the State despite the harsh economic situation, noting that the Prosperity agenda of the Okowa’s administration will definitely touch the lives of all Deltans.
“Governorship Position has been on a zoning platform of 8yrs for each Senatorial District in Delta State, Delta Central has done theirs, Delta South has ruled, it’s the turn of the Delta North, come 2019 Governorship position will go to Delta North in other to complete the eight years, Delta Central should be patient till 2023” he added.
He appeal to party faithfuls to be vigilant at all times, he said they should not be deceived by the change mantra of the APC led Federal Government, stating that the negative change of the APC has brought pains and sorrows to the lives of Nigerians as he express confidence that come 2019 the PDP has the capacity to change the negative change of the APC at the federal level.
