The Special Assistant to the Delta state Governor (Social Media), Comr. Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu has reiterated the commitment of the Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa led administration to turn around for the better, the infrastructures in the state. Comr. Asiuwhu who made the commitment while fielding questions from newsmen after the Uwheru ward in Ughelli North LGA PDP inauguration yesterday 16th November 2016, he reminded Deltans that Gov. Okowa would always put the interest of Deltans first before any political interest.

"Permit me to use this rare opportunity where gentlemen of the fourth realm have my listening ears to once again reiterate the commitment of the Delta state Government, led by the Most Distinguished Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, at ensuring that there's a maximum turn around in the infrastructure of the state. Recently, the Honorable Commissioner of Information in the state, Hon. Patrick Ukah, made it known to the world that within the space of just a year and about six months, this administration has awarded over 100 contracts, and more than 50 have not only been completed in line with International standards, but have also been commissioned by His Excellency and are in use now. If His Excellency could accomplish this great feat in a period where the Country's economy is facing a 'terrible turbulence', I believe it is safe to say that this administration means well for all."

"Right now, work is going on on so many roads in the state, the Ebube Imade street off Anwai road, Ebunuwa street beside Skye bannk in Asaba, Iloba streer, Charles Street in Agbor, failed portions of the Agbor-Abraka-Eku-Sapele Expressway are being repaired, the Honorable Commissioner of Works, Chief James Augoye inspected the work going on there yesterday to ensure that they contractors do not shortchange Deltans and so many others too numerous to mention." He said

"I want to assure Deltans that with the vigor His Excellency pursues the development of the state irrespective of whose ox is gored, there is no way Deltans would be shortchanged by any contractor. Gov. Okowa would always put the interest of deltans first before his or any other persons political interest." He concluded.
