    Ambrose Alli University has been set in a state of Sigma Bragabum as students shut down the University Community Due to the Increment of Schools fees by the school management.

    A Protest which started Peacefully at about 6 a.m this Morning saw the gathering of over 4,000 students at the Main Campus and the College of Basic Medicine.

    No vehicle was allowed to enter the University Premises, Not even the VC of the University was allowed to go in, as a result, no University activity was carried out today.  

    According to our source, things became bad when two students were shot by Men of the Nigerian Army, one in the leg, and the other in the Face.

    Due to this, angry students burnt down a Trailer conveying bags of Rice to the North, and all the bags of rice were taken by Angry students and Natives Present at the scene.

    The Benin Auchi Express way was blocked by students for over 5hours, and motorist had to find other routes

    Students Proceeded into the University, where they vandalized doors and windows of the University Newest Building, Donated by the ETF

    Due to this, the University Authorities have ordered all students to Vacate the Premises before 4pm today. And All academic Activities will be on a Halt for Now.

    The students Continue with their Aluta Spirit, and they have threatened that if something is not done about the school fees hike, A National Congress will be held.

    The National Association of Nigerian Students is aware of this Protest, and Representatives from the Union were Present at the scene of the Protest
