Osanebi who received the award in Asaba was also crowned the 2016 youth ambassador of the year as a result of his huge investments in human capital development, women and youth empowerment.
The organizers of the legend peace award further revealed that the awards and garlands on Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi followed a public opinion votes on the group's website, www. peacelegendaward.com with other public office holders and opinion leaders nominated for the online polls with various categories.
According to Jesse Osero Amiri, CEO/moderator of the public opinion polls, " Osanebi has redefined the 21st century Youth, by his uncommon leadership potentials and charisma, which he has demonstrated through an unparalleled philanthropy".
Osanebi through his people friendly representation has proven to the world at large that the Nigerian youth can hold any public office of trust with excellent results to show, says the group.
Big Brother Africa winner/TV Personality, Uti Nwachukwu presenting the award to the Deputy Speaker decried him as a proud Ndokwa man whom has done well .
The Rt. Hon Friday Osanebi was enlisted into the class of philanthropists as a young man, when he was first privileged to lead Ndokwa youths as national president.
Seeking wider platform to serve the society and humanity, Osanebi contested the House of Assembly seat for Ndokwa East State Constituency in 2011 and won. Like a vessel nature has preserved for a special purpose, he was reelected again in 2015 and became the youngest Deputy Speaker ever at the inauguration of the 6th Assembly of the Delta State House of Assembly.
There is hardly anywhere he goes in the state that he is not acknowledged in ecstasy – with ‘Empowerment Master! Empowerment Master! renting the air. It is noteworthy that Osanebi had achieved all these lofty deeds at a very young age. He deserves encomiums and worthy to be celebrated for impacting lives positively.
Chief Ugo Asibelua, PDP chairman of Ndokwa East, who represented the Deputy Speaker, told news men after he received the award that the Deputy Speaker is a rear gift from God to the Ndokwa, Delta state people and the world at large.
Other awardees at the event that took place at Swiss Spirit Hotel, Asaba were: Hon. Barr. Lovette Idisi, Member of the Nigerian House of reps, Hon. Barr. Daniel Mayuku, Member, Delta State House of Assembly, DESOPADEC Managing Director, Olorogun Williams Makinde, Dr. Chris Ekiyor and a host of others.
