WOMEN NATIONS CUP: Ghana Blacks Queens Dares Super Falcons Today

NIGERIA’S Super Falcons will attempt to improve on their first group game result against Mali when they meet Ghana’s Black Queens in today’s group B encounter at the ongoing Africa Women Cup of Nations in Cameroun.

The Super Falcons demolished Mali by 6-0 in their group B match in Limbe, Cameroon. The Black Queens on their part rode over Kenya 3-1 and they are confident of keeping the Super Falcons’ attack in check.
Falcon’s coach Florence Omagbemi said that their objective is to win the game and qualify to the quarter-final stage. “The Nigerian team is a team with a technical bench. We have a lot of coaches on our team and when we have a game, we have a pre-game talk and we try to pass the message and we try to talk to everyone on the team. Everyone had information and that is why we are on top of our game,” she said.
The match is scheduled for 4pm Nigerian time
