A Bill for a law to establish a building/ civil engineering construction materials quality control laboratory and other matters connected therewith in Delta State has passed the first reading at the State House of Assembly.
Hon Evance Ivwurie representing Ethiope East Constituecy who sponsored the bill moved for the presentation and first reading, seconded by Hon Sheriff Oborevwori [JP] representing Okpe constituency.
Thursday January 26, 2016 was slated for the second reading of the bill.
Also at today’s plenary, the House received the report of the House Committee on Water Resources Development on the concession agreement for the development of the Warri-Effurun water supply system under a build, operate and transfer arrangement.
The Chairman of the said committee, Hon Samuel Mariere, said the committee took a careful sturdy of all the document presented, enjoining his colleagues to adopt the report.
The Deputy Leader, Hon Oboroh Preyor moved the House to receive the document for further consideration, seconded by Hon Eric Oharisi and adopted.
Tuesday December 6, 2016 was slated for the consideration of the report.
