The Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education Barrister Chiedu Ebie has reiterated the commitment of the Senator Ifeanyi Okowa led government to continue provide a conducive learning environment and quality education for primary and secondary school children in the state.
Barr. Ebie disclosed this during his recent tour of schools undergoing construction in the state.
The Honourable Commissioner who took time to inspect the on-going construction works at the various school sites across the state alongside Chief Inspectors of Education, (C.I.E) called on the contractors handling the various projects to increase the pace of work and ensure that the projects are completed at specification.
He said that the place of education in the present administration in the state cannot be overlooked; hence, the state government is embarking on a massive construction and rehabilitation of primary and secondary school buildings in the state.
He noted that as a focused government, the Okowa led administration will continue to make education a top priority by ensuring that schools in the state are reconstructed and equipped.
