Senior Political Adviser to the executive governor of Delta state, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Secretary of the Delta state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Obi Godday Nzete and the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon. Austine Chikaezie, Chief Dan Ossai, S.A project monitoring, Mr. Iwebunor Collins, S.A special duties on Tuesday, (14-03-2017) embarked on a consultation visit to Nsukwa, Etua-Ukpo, Ejeme Uno, Ejeme-Aniogor, in Aniocha south LGA, and Ilogwa-Isumpe, Alidinma- Ndemili road in Ndokwa West LGA..
According to Chief Ochonogor who led the delegation to the host communities, "We are here today to first and foremost notify you that the Nsukwa-Ndemili road construction is set to begin this Friday, 17-03-2017 and to also plead with the youths of the communities involved to give the needed assistance to the contractors as they begin work.
"The road which links Three Local Government Areas of the state, Aniocha South, Ndokwa West and Ika North-East will be of great use to the people of these LGAs as it will help farmers, traders and even motorists in their daily routine works",he said.
Representative of Ebube Dan Construction Company who was on ground during the visit, assured the Senior Political Adviser and his team of quality work as it has always been their resolve to deliver to their clients.
The host communities expressed their heart-felt gratitude to his Excellency, governor Ifeanyi Okowa for standing by his word to develop the state beyond human compression even in the face of the economic woes hitting hard on the country and promised to give the Construction Company the enabling environment for the job.
Chief Ochonogor thanked them for the warmth reception and used the opportunity to call on all Deltans irrespective of party affiliations to join hands with the state governor in moving the state forward.
