An Act to Amend the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Act 2000, and other related matters therewith, 2017 (SB. 544), was today presented before the Senate by the Distinguished Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi, representing Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs.
The Bill was seconded by Senator Gbenga Asafa, who observed the non-inclusion of Lagos State amongst the states which make up the Niger Delta States and moved for its inclusion in the amendment.
Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki then referred the Bill to the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs with a mandate to submit a report within four (4) weeks.
Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi is giving effective representation to the good people of Delta North Senatorial District via People oriented Bills.
More grace to the Oracle of Nigerian Senate.
