The leadership of the West Africa Collage of Physicians on Tuesday 18th July 2017, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Nicholas Azinge ( Snr), one of the founding father of the organization at his Asaba Residence, Delta State.
Dr. Nicholas Azinge in his welcome remark expressed great enthusiasm and thanked the delegates for finding time to visit him.
The President of the Organization Professor Ifeoma Egbuonu in his speech on behalf of the organization thanked Dr. Nicholas Azinge for the role he played in the establishment of the organization 40 years ago.
The President then disclosed that Dr. Nicholas Azinge (Snr), was the first specialist physician in the then Bendel State (Edo/Delta).
Meanwhile, Dr. Nicholas Azinge in his response appreciated their zeal in working towards the advancement of Africa Health System and Nigeria, assured them of his continues support and that of the Delta State Government.
He further stated that the State Government has already provided an enabling environment that will help them in achieving their aims of visiting the State for their programme that is kicking off tomorrow 19th July 2017, at the Orchid hotels Asaba, Delta State.
Finally, Dr. Azinge disclosed that the State Government in line with its SMART Agenda is ready to partner with any organization that will work towards the manifestation of her Prosperity for All Deltans Agenda.
