    REMAIN COMMITTED TO THE PARTY, OCHONOGOR CHARGES PDP FAITHFULS




    Senior Political Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Chief Festus Ochonogor has called on leaders and all members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state to continue to show great commitment to the growth of the party in a bid a retain power in 2019 and beyond.

    Chief Ochonogor made the call on Sunday
    29/07/2017,  in Oshimili South Local Government Area when the PDP in the LGA had their last ward tour. According to Ochonogor, "As we all know, the PDP is the biggest and strongest party in Delta state. We have gotten to where we are today because of the great commitments we have shown to the growth and betterment of this party.

    "I urge you all to continue with your good works and bring back other members who left the party during the legal tussle between our National Chairman, Sen. Ahmed Markafi and Alhaji Ali Modu Sherrif as the umbrella is big enough to contain uncountable number of persons", he said.

    Chairman of the PDP in Oshimili South LGA, Chief Ogbueshi Dada Okonji thanked the Senior Political Adviser for his words of encouragement, assuring him of his resolve to work tirelessly with his team to ensure the party gains victory at all times.

    Chief Ochonogor hailed the party chairman for the level of progress the party has recorded in the LGA since he assumed office and used the opportunity to call on all Deltans irrespective of party affiliation to continue to support the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and eschew all forms of violence noting that, peace is the only panacea to development.
