Acting upon an official proclamation issued by the Executive Chairman of the council to justice V.I Ofesi of the Kwale high Court, the inauguration ceremony marks the constitution of the 6th Assembly of the Ndokwa west legislative arm.
Speaking further during the inauguration ceremony which was well attended by both women and youths of the area, Hon.Osakwe charged the councillors to dedicate a greater part of their time in meeting and cross fertilising ideas with their people, as such move will enable the councils to know the primary needs of the people and get them properly positioned on possible ways of addressing same. He encourage to imbibe in spirit of team work, rather Dividing themselves as a means of formenting unnecessary troubles in the council.
He tasked them to always ensure the sustenance of peace and tranquility in their different domains, even as he reminds them that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence.
He expressed his readiness to work in harmony with the legislators, even as he asserted that all hands must be on deck as they strive to bring about good governance and development to the area, noting that the task of building a more united and envious Ndokwa west LGA requires concerted effort.
High point of the ceremony was the taking of oath of office by the councillors as was administered on them by Justice V.I Ofes
