It was an epic political gathering in Amai-Kingdom, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, as all well known political juggernaut as well as major grassroot mobilisers in the LGA, cutting across the various communities, assembled under the platform of Ukwuani Chapter of the Ofu-Obi Anioma group, a socio-political group founded for the political well-being of the Anioma people.
The group met and inaugurated the Ukwuani Local Government Area Chapter of the organisation, as well as Ward Coordinators. The Organisation under the able leadership of Hon. Louis Ndukwe, a political juggernaut from Oshimili North LGA, and the current serving Executive Chairman of same LGA Council, met to brainstorm in line with Ofu-Obi Anioma's goals and objectives.
The Director General of the organisation, Hon. Louis Ndukwe, in his remark, thanked the people for honouring the meeting enmass. He expressed his satisfaction over the calibre of people present, which according to him is a sign that the Ofu-Obi Anioma group is the bedrock of political activities in the whole of Delta North, adding that the organisation has succeeded in building an indelible political family, which in 2015, saw to the emergence of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as the Executive Governor of Delta State as well as Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, being the voice of Anioma in the Senate. All these they were able to achieve because they selflessly and passionately "Walked the Walk", he added.
While eulogising the visible achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the indelible giant developmental strides of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the D.G. emphasised that the duo, being the Pilots of Delta North development agenda have piloted the ship to the satisfaction of Anioma people irrespective of political ideologies.
Speaking further, Hon. Louis Ndukwe, appealed to the people of Ukwuani LGA to "walk" without ceasing, preaching the good works of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi to all nook and crannies of Ukwuani LGA and Delta North at large, assuring them that the duo will do more in attracting and developing Ukwuani, including human capital development.
The LGA coordinator, Hon. Dike Abraham in his speech on behalf of Ukwuani Chapter, expressed thanks to God Almighty for blessing Delta North with Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi. While citing their presence in Ukwuani, specifically thanked Senator Peter Nwaoboshi for attracting a road construction project to Obiaruku community, Ezhionum Kingdom, Amai Kingdom and other parts of Ukwuani LGA.
He heartily disclosed that Delta North Senatorial District had not experienced the kind of representation of Senator Nwaoboshi before now. He added that the "Oracle" has earned endorsement for continuity within and outside Ukwuani LGA because of his achievements, both in his bills/motions on the Senate floor, as well as other notable achievements like the Road Projects, the Amnesty Programme, the NDDC scholarship scheme, his general empowerment programmes, as well as his Educational Foundation. "We are so glad at the the rate at which road construction projects attracted by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi are being executed across Delta North. These are evident facts that he means well for Delta North", he said.
While reacting to the ongoing propaganda war by the enemies of Anioma through the media in a bid to discredit Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, Hon. Dike Abraham emphasised that such acts can be referred to as witch craft, and advised the people involved to desist from such acts because the good people of Anioma are wiser than their folly and bastardisation.
Hon. Abraham assured Gov. Okowa and Senator Nwaoboshi on behalf of the good people of Ukwuani of massive votes come 2019, and equally appealed to the duo to do more for Ukwuani People.

Forming the major spotlight of the occasion: After the inauguration of the Excos, the body brainstormed and deliberated at the end of which they unanimously passed a vote of confidence on H.E. Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi for continuity, come 2019, as well as a vote of confidence on the National Leadership of the organisation, as led by Ogbuenyi Hon. Louis Ndukwe.
Fourthmore, an Independent Observer who were on ground to witness the event, stated in quote; "With what we have seen on ground here, and judging from these political forces, no opposition can defeat Gov. Okowa and Senator Nwaoboshi in Ukwuani LGA, come 2019".
Meanwhile, amongst the entourage of Hon. Louis Ndukwe and dignitaries present includes but not limited to Hon. Sunny Obi, the Executive Vice Chairman of Oshimili South LGA, Hon. The event ended with prayers, refreshments and familiarization of both old and new members.
