The Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr Kingsley Otuaro, has said that the Governor Okowa led administration will continue to be fair and just in its dealings with Deltans and create the enabling platform for peace and social harmony amongst communities and Kingdoms.
Barr. Otuaro stated this at his office in Asaba while playing host to notable stakeholders and people of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom in Bomadi Local Government Area, led by HRM, Godspower Oporomor, Taraeza 1, the Pere Elect of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom today (21/10/2016).
The state deputy governor who said that peace and security is the very key to this administration, noted that peace can only be achieved via the respect of the rule of law by communities and kingdoms in the state.
Barr. Otuaro while saying that he has perfect understanding of issues raised by the People of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom as regard recognition of their monarch to be gazetted and given the necessary recognition, he commended the people for taking the right step in the right direction by coming to government to address the issue, saying that the process would also be look into by government as well as the traditional rulers council to guarantee the due process according to the rule of law.
He urged the people of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom to remain peaceful and law abiding, assuring that the state government will look into the issue and proffer solution for the way forward.
According to him, "As a government, we will do all in our powers to create the platforms for peace, and also usher in social harmony, this is very critical and pivotal to achieving our mandate of declaring prosperity or realizing prosperity for all Deltans. Peace and harmony can only be achieved via the respect for the rule of law." Barr. Otuaro stated.
