The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District at the Nigeria Senate and the Chairman Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, alongside members of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs and NDDC paid a historical Visit to Delta North Senatorial District and Delta State, the immediate Constituency and the Home State of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
The Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs and NDDC Crew, inspected NDDC abandoned, Ongoing and completed projects in the state.
We recall that Senator Peter Nwaoboshi in some recent Public Functions, affirmed and reiterated his commitments to put aright some anomalies observed in the system like; Abandonment of projects, contracts awarded to some unregistered and unqualified contractors, thereafter abandoning the projects at the peril of the people of Niger Delta Region.
In a swift and pragmatic action, Senator Nwaoboshi and his Senate Committee on NDDC and Niger Delta Affairs, Summoned the contractor in charge of Asaba-Oko Road Construction and every other uncompleted and abandoned Projects under construction in Delta North his Immediate Constituency and Delta State his home State and in the entire Region.
Meanwhile, On arrival in Delta State, the team paid a Courtesy Visit to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa. The Governor then appealed to the Federal Government for the Commission to be well funded to enable her achieve it aims and objectives.
The Developmental and Pragmatic tour of the long awaited visionary development blueprint of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC and Niger Delta Affairs for his immediate Senatorial District (Delta North), Delta State, his home State and the entire Region of Niger Delta, ended up with lite Dinner Groove at his residence in Ibusa Community in Oshimili North LGA, Delta State Nigeria.
