The entire management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture have poured encomiums on the Delta State Government on the successful hosting of the just concluded 46th meeting of the National Council on Information in Asaba, the state capital.
According to a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Mrs. A. O. Adesugba, equally not left out of the encomiums is the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, and members of management and staff.
She said that the provision of necessary administrative and logistic support by the government of Delta State went a long way in ensuring the overall success of the event.
According her, the reception and hospitality of the government and people of the state, coupled with the grand performance at the Gala Night are most cherished in their memories, adding that this has undoubtedly proven that Delta State is indeed 'The Big Heart'.
In the letter, Mrs. Adesugba expressed profound appreciation to Mr. Ukah and his team for the impressive roles they played in ensuring a successful hosting of the meeting.
She specially mentioned the humility and attention to details of the Commissioner for Information which are sterling qualities that indeed ensured that arrangements for the event went smoothly as planned.
