The Delta State House of Assembly, today 08/11/2016, at plenary screened and confirmed four (4) nominees for appointment as Chairman & Members of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency as sent by the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to the House.
The screening of the nominees followed a motion moved by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Kenneth Oboro Preyor seconded by Hon. Emeka Nwaobi and was adopted by the House.
The nominees are Chief Tom Amioku- Chairman, Chief Austin Igbine-Member, Hon. (Mrs) Chinwe Monu-Olarewaju- Member and Hon. Sunny Emeyese-Member.
The nominees who appeared in the hallow chambers were asked to take a bow and go after screening them.
Thereafter, the Deputy Majority Leader, Kenneth Oboro Preyor moved for the confirmation of the screened nominees, seconded by Hon. Okoh Festus Chukwuyem and was adopted by the house.
The House was adjourned to Wednesday 9th November, 2016 at 10.00am following a motion moved by Majority Leader and seconded by Hon. Festus Chukwuyem.
