    HON OREZI EMPOWER CONSTITUENTS


    Over two million naira was presented to various traders in Isoko South by the member representing Isoko South 1 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Orezi Edna Esievo as part of her empowerment program for her constituent.

    The money was presented to the beneficiaries at the second edition of Hon Esievo’s constituent’s briefing and empowerment held at Ekpre Otobo Hall, Oleh, Isoko South LGA.
    The constituency briefing was attended by government functionaries and politicians including the ALGON/ Isoko South Chairman, Hon Itrako C Ikpokpo; SA to Gov Okowa on Conflict Res and DG to Hon Esievo’s Campaign Organisation; traditional rulers, market women and youths in the area.

    Hon Esievo while addressing the people said the gesture was a fulfillment of her election promises, assuring the people of more empowerment.
    Hon Esievo who is the Chairman, House Committee on Public Petition said that the money was given to the traders to boost their businesses and economic wellbeing and admonished them to make judicious use of the money.

    She called on her constituent to support the policies and programs of the Okow administration, while pledging her cooperation with other legislators in making laws that will attract meaningful development to her constituency.

    The female lawmaker disclosed that she had sponsored and co-sponsored several bills, adding that most of the bills had been passed into law, stressing that many capital projects had been executed in her constituency, while some were ongoing.
    Responding, the beneficiaries of the empowerment program thanked Hon Esievo for the gesture and enjoined other political office holders to emulate such kind gesture as exhibited by the female lawmaker and promised to make a judicious use of the money.
