    Security: Warri South To Purchase Vehicle For NSCDC

    The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema has revealed plans by his administration to purchase a brand new Hilux Van for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Warri South Local Government to boost security in the area.
    Hon. Edema made the declaration Tuesday November 22 at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri when he played host to the Delta State Commandant of NSCDC, Commandant Beatrice Irabor.
    The second-term Warri South Council Boss promised to look into the NSCDC request of office accommodation for its officers as soon as the financial situation of the local government improves.
    The Delta State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,Commandant Beatrice Irabor commended Hon. Edema’s humility and thanked him for taking care of officers of NSCDC in the Local Government Area, just as she appealed to him to address the inadequate office accommodation challenge being faced by officers of the Command.
    Public Relations Officer of NSCDC in Delta State, Mr. Egede Chukwudi thanked the Warri South Council Boss for the support and reception.
    Our Correspondent reports that Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Hon. Bawo Alex Nanna, Warri South Local Government Council Head of Personnel Management, Mr. K.E Agbate and Treasurer to the Local Government, P.N. Ezebuike were on hand when the State NSCDC Commandant visited the Warri South Local Government Chairman.
