Recently Urhobo Youths at the aeiges of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth Wing Worldwide held its median Youth Summit at the Urhobo House, Okere Road, Warri.
At the Summit Olorogun Matthew Poko Opuoru the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters called on the Urhobo Nation to continue to support Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and his Government as it was in Urhobo best interest to do so.
Olorogun Matthew Poko Opuoru who at the Summit was presented an Award by Urhobo
Youths for his uncommon leadership and mentoring of Urhobo Youths insisted that
Urhobo should never again endorse one Candidate above the others as this has shown to have left Urhobo Nation more divided than United.
He canvassed that Urhobo Nation should continue to support Okowa now and his re election in 2019 as he was confident Governorship will naturally return back to
Urhobo Nation in 2023.

Olorogun Opuoru admonished Urhobo Political Class to always look out for Urhobo best Interest, he stated that instead of trading blame games and become evasive
and elusive from the people they lead, Urhobo Political should be more purposive and creative in ensuring they meet the yearnings and aspirations of their People as
it was the right thing to do.

He thanked Olorogun (Engr.) Joe Omene the President General of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) for standing up for Urhobo Youths
always and for ensuring that the First of its kind Urhobo Nation Youth Summit held in his own Okere Urhobo land where he is a
Political Leader.

He concluded by saying that he was confident that Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa will not disappoint Urhobo Nation.
