The Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate, Abuja Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi in his home town Ibusa in Oshimili North LGA Delta State, joined the family of Nwaezeigwe to celebrate their late patriarch who died on the 1st of October, 2016 after a brief illness as he was laid to the sepulcher on Friday, the 2nd of December, 2016.
Senator Nwaoboshi, while dancing with the Children, expressed that late Chief Awele Austin Nwaezeigwe led a good and exemplary life while on earth, that is, a life well spent. He further revealed that late Chief Nwaezeigwe was a complete gentleman, a political father, a community builder and above all, a God fearing man.
In his final key address to the mourners, the Most Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi urged the family to emulate the giant strides of their late Father's principles as a guide while on their sojourn in this life.
Some prominent personalities who came from the state with the Senator to pay late Nwaezeigwe his last honour were; Chief Moses Iduh, Delta North PDP Chairman, Hon. Pascal Adigwe (Nwaoranine), former House of Rep member and the SSA to Governor Okowa on National Assembly matters, Hon. Shady Anthony Ajukwu, Member, State Water Ways and Land Security Board, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, the PDP Chairman, Oshimili South LGA, to mention but a few.
It was indeed a thing of joy and gladness paying last respect to late Chief Awele Nwaezeigwe, the pioneer Council Chairman of Oshimili North and South LGAs, biding goodbye to a political hero with traditional music and dance groups led by the town's famous and foremost Ogbogu Okonji.
