    61 PERSONS EMPOWERED IN WARD 2 ETUA-UKPO AS NDOKWA WEST PDP LEADERS BEGIN HER PARTY TOUR




    The good, loving and hard-working people of Etua-Ukpo, Ward 2 of Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State were excited and elated today as Ndokwa West PDP leaders began her Party tours of their communities.

    The PDP Chairman Ndokwa West, Chief Lucky Okwugi led the team which include Chief Festus Ochonogor (Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State);  Chief Obi Godday Nzete (Secretary PDP Delta state);   Hon. Azuka Azaka (Member Representing Ndokwa West State Constituency at the Delta state House of Assembly); Sir. Monday Onyeme (Chairman, Board of Internal Revenue); Barr. Ernest Ogwezzy (Commissioner for Special Duties); Hon. Chris Ifeanyi Osakwe (Chairman, Ndokwa West LGA, Delta state); Hon. Chukwuemeke Emetulu (Former Commissioner for Energy, Delta State); Hon. Dan Ossai (SSA, Project Monitoring); Chief Godday Azum Ngbabego (S.A Special Duties) and other PDP political bigwigs from Ndokwa West.


    Chief Lucky Okwugi, who gave the opening speech advised Ward 2 PDP members to be more supportive to the party in all ramifications stating that the party will ensure that every community in Ndokwa West are duly recognised in Governor Okowa's Prosperity Agenda. He further commended the party faithfuls for coming out en masse to receive them.


    Hon. Azuka Azaka, Member Delta State House of Assembly, while giving his speech urged the teeming party faithfuls to remain optimistic, focused, dedicated because  the Governor has Ndokwa West at heart. He reaffirmed his commitment and dedication to effective representation and pledged his resolutions  towards ensuring that Ndokwa West gets her fair share from all Commissions/Companies operating in the heart of Ndokwa West. He further disclosed that the construction of Nsukwa-Ndemili Road will resume this weekend.


    Hon. Azaka would declare the Empowerment Exercise open by empowering a total of 21 persons much to the surprise and delight of everyone around.

    Meanwhile, Chief Festus Ochonogor was not left out as he appealed to Ward 2 PDP members to be patient with the administration of Governor Okowa, as he delivers his campaign promises. He equally revealed that the Party remains intact and that PDP has been intact since 1999 and remains strong and  no one should be distracted. As he financially  empowered 10 persons into starting their own businesses to become self-employed.

    Other leaders who also empowered Ward 2 PDP members were: Chief Festus Ochonogor (10 persons), Chief Obi Nzete (10 persons), Sir Monday Onyeme (10 persons) and Hon. Chris Ifeanyi Osakwe (10 persons), respectively.

    The Chairman in his closing remark, enjoined them to always remain faithful and loyal to the party stressing that those who didn't benefit from the empowerment will surely do in the nearest future.
