    *IBUSA WOMEN COMMEND SENATOR NWAOBOSHI*

A group of Ibusa women elites called *Association of Ibusa professional women* on Saturday, April 15, 2017, presented a letter of commendation to the most distinguished Sen.(Barr.) Peter O Nwaoboshi, in recognition of his achievements within these two years he has been at the National Assembly.

In a letter presented and read  by its secretary, Mrs Prescilla Okeleke, *we have observed with keen interest how you have hit the ground running as soon as you assumed office and have done so much for us within a short period*.

The association also thanked him 'immensely' for the empowerment programme which he had embarked upon in order to reduce poverty and curb crime and criminality among (Ibusa) indigenes.

According to the group, of great importance was the approval and construction of 11km road work which was unequalled in the history of Ibusa, which they said, has alleviated the hardship of their people due to flooding during the rainy season.

They further expressed their joy and appreciation over the approvals of a vocational skill aqcauisition centre and the renovation of the Ibusa general hospital.

They pledged their unalloyed support for sen. Nwaoboshi in his onerous task of bringing the much needed development to Ibusa.
Mrs Okeleke had earlier said that the association's main objective was the advancement of the Ibusa youths, particularly that of the girl child. She said the group was NGO and apolitical.

Earlier,  the president of the association, Dr Ifeoma Utomi said that though she had not been close to senator Nwaoboshi, she had been following his political antecedents over time and knew that he was a political juggernaut who should be supported by all.

Accepting the Award with smiles and sense of satisfaction in the most humblest of manners, the distinguished Senator Peter O. Nwaoboshi thanked the Group for finding him worthy of such recognition stressing that it has spurred him  to do even more. He further assured them that the main projects aimed towards transforming Ibusa were just about to begin, describing the roads recently constructed in the town as "Emergency Intervention" because the real work would begin very soon.

On his achievements at the senate, he assured that he would continue to speak for the betterment of his constituents and Nigerians at large because that remained the primary reason the Anioma people sent him to the senate.

Finally, he admonished them to be steadfast in whatever they were set out to do as  many obstacles might come their ways as a Group.

He further urged them to reach out to him whenever they needed him to render account of his stewardship because he was a public servant and his political powers belong to his constituents.
