    Key Into Gov. Okowa's SMART Agenda, Azinge Urges Deltans


    Delta state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nicholas Azinge has called on all Deltans to key into the SMART Agenda of the Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa led administration.

    He made the call yesterday (17-04-2017) when he played host to leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Oshimili South Local Government Area at his residence.

    The Honourable Commissioner while addressing leaders of the party noted that, the governor alone cannot bring the needed development to all nooks and crannies of state as he is a human being and can only do to the best of his abilities, hence the need for all Deltans to join hands with the governor in moving the state forward.

    "We all know the governor is doing everything within his powers to take development across the state as we have seen several projects which include; roads constructions, building of modern hospitals, schools, laboratories among other numerous achievements recorded in less than two years of his administration but the governor needs the collective support of all Deltans to able to take the state to the promised land", he said.

    Dr. Azinge also used the opportunity of the visit to announce his decision to place two people from each of the eleven wards in the LGA on monthly stipends.

    Hon. Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Oshimili South LGA, Senator Francis Nwajei and Chief Edwin Uzor among other party leaders who were present during the visit thanked the Honourable Commissioner for the warmth reception and empowerment while calling on the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of the party, state and Nigeria at large.
