Towards Enhancing the Internally Generated Revenue of the State, the Executive Board Chairman Delta State Board of Internal Revenue DBIR Sir Monday John Onyeme and his team meets with high Ranking Officers of Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC) at the DBIR Headquarters, Warri.
Onyeme while thanking the Corp Marshals from Federal Road Safety Commission for their timely visit, further appreciate them for the Cooperation enjoyed thus far in assisting the Board on the drive of Revenue Generation via Pressure on vehicle owners on registration of number Plates as well as Vehicle Licensing, as he urges them not to relent in their tireless Support in ensuring that vehicle owners renew their license as at when due.
He maintained that the utmost Priorities of the DBIR Board is to Generate Revenue for the Delta State Government noting that the Okowa's led administration even in the face of dwindling economy has been able to deliver the dividends of Democracy to the People of Delta State " Okowa's administration has recorded huge success in delivering the Prosperity for all Deltans that is enshrined in the SMART Agenda for the good of all Deltans " he added.
In response the Deputy Corp Marshal Motor Vehicle Administration, Abuja Mr Charles Theophilus who led the team to the DBIR Board thanked the Board Chairman and his Members for their brilliant drive in boosting the Internally Generated Revenue of Delta State as they pledged to continue to Support the Board in ensuring that the Revenue Base of the State receive a boost.
In attendance were the DBIR Executive Board Chairman Sir Monday John Onyeme, DBIR Board Secretary Chief Barr Mike Edegware Esq, the Director of Other Revenue Mr Ojieh, SLO to the DBIR Board,Delta State Sector Commander of FRSC Rt Mr Rindom Kumven, Warri Unit Commander Mr I.O Seidu and Mr Audu.
