A delegation of residents of Ekeruche street in Obiaruku paid a thank you visit to Sen (Barr) Peter Nwaoboshi for the construction of Ekeruche street in Obiaruku which the Senator facilitated.

The delegation was led by High Chief Lord Esugunum and they appreciated the Senator for remembering them by making the construction of Ekeruche street his priority in this his first tenure. This was evident in the construction of the street within the first two years of Sen (Barr) Peter Nwaoboshi as a Senator representing Delta North.

They recalled that the Senator came to Ukwuani LGA within one week after his electoral victory to thank the God people of Ukwuani LGA for their support during the election. The delegation also used the opportunity to appeal to the Senator to facilitate the construction of drainage in Ekeruche street as this will make the road more durable.

They went further to explain that the Ogbeuku street which joins Ekeruche street at the old Sapele/Agbor road has a drainage that is channeled to the Ethiope River. According to them, this will make the channelling of the Ekeruche street drainage easier.

In his response, Sen (Barr) Peter Nwaoboshi thanked the delegation for deeming it fit to visit him and told them that he will continue to do his best to attract development to all nooks and crannies of Delta North. He went further to urge them to continue to support the Governor of Delta state and all those that were elected and appointed under the platform of PDP, as they will never regret supporting the party. On the request for the drainage, the Senator said he has taken note of their request and will respond approximately.
