My attention has been drawn to various publications in respect of the purported forefeiture of properties allegedly belonging to me by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
I wish to use this medium to state that this is another attempt by my political adversaries to embarrass and frustrate me based on my support , on principle, for the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and my belief in the principle of seperation of power in the governance of our country.
Firstly, i have not been served with any court process or invited by EFCC regarding the puported forefeiture.
Secondly, the companies in question are seperate legal entities involved in various legal business operations and no complaint has arisen of any crime or civil dispute between these companies and entities with which they have engaged in business. There is therefore no legitimate complaint against them but rather a procured complaint.
Thirdly, there is a pending action against EFCC instituted in the suit No: FHC/ABS/CS/28/17 Golden Touch Construction Limited and Suiming Enterprise Limited v. EFCC and Ors before the federal High Court, Asaba Division. The matter was instituted on 28th day of March 2017 and the EFCC appeared before the court on 10th of April 2017 and signed a memorandum of appearance on the same date only to file for asset seizure on the 12th of April before another Federal High court in Lagos in suit No: FHC/L/CS/584/17 without disclosing to the Federal High Court in Lagos the existence of the case in Asaba. The EFCC disregarded the pending case at the Federal High Court Asaba in its pursuit of its present vendetta in bad faith.
Fourthly, i am a visible public officer and no letter of invitation was sent to me before the purported action by EFCC.
Fifthly, I have requested Bilderberg, the company that excuted the contract with Delta State Government, and they agreed to publish within a week, Proforma invoices for the importation of the equipment, the Bill of lading, the contract award letter from Delta state government, the contract agreement between them and the chinese companies from where the equipment were procured, certificates from the chinese company that manufactured and shipped the equipment certifying that the equipment supplied were brand new equipment and not used or old equipment, certificate of job completion by Delta State government in accordance with the terms of contract and other relevant documents for the information and verification of all National and international security agencies, chinese embassy in Nigeria, Nigeria embassy in China and the General public.
It is on this note that i will re-affirm my allegiance to the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the constitutional independance of the National Assembly. It is apparent that absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely and we should be vigilant before we inwittingly slip in dictatorship. I am ready to answer any question and deal with all the puported allegations when they are peoperly brought to my attention.
