Publishers of Community Newspapers and Magazines have been charged to always engaged in constructive criticism and verify their facts before publication.
The commissioner for lands and Surveys Honourable Ossai Peter Chika gave the charge when members of the Association of Community Newspaper publishers Delta State Chapter paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Honourable Ossai who commended the publishers of Community Newspaper for bridging the information gap between people at the Urban and Rural areas urged them to maintain the cordial relationship existing between them and the State Government.
On their request for land to build a befitting Secretariat Hon Chika Ossai told them that there was no vacant of land in Asaba but assured them that they would be remembered during the allocation of plots.
The Chairman Delta State Chapter of the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers Comrade Jude Obiemenyego said they were in his office to inform him of their plan to organize a workshop on Communal land Disputes in all the Local government areas in Delta State by August this year.
