NDOKWA ROYAL FATHERS HOST SENATOR PETER O. NWAOBOSHI:

The royal fathers of Ndokwa nation yesterday, June 10, 2017 played host to the most distinguished sen. Peter O. Nwaoboshi at the residence of HRM Nzeuku Isaac Pius Okolie Ugbo-Obi (the Oduosa of Utagba- Ogbe)

In his address, the Oduosa of Utagba-Ogbe Kingdom said he was glad to receive Senator Nwaoboshi in his Palace, expressing his joy for the good work Senator Nwaoboshi was doing across Ndokwa nation. He said that  Ndokwa nation would continue to appreciate his gesture.

The Monarch further acknowledged the dynamic, dogged, proactive and people oriented style of representation of Senator Nwaoboshi, stressing that "Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi was a solid Pilar in Anioma nation and  also a son we must not afford to joke with, urging a continuous support for him, his sustainability and successes.

In another complimentary speech, HRM Ekereuche Donald Ejeiche, the Ebu of Umuebu Onyia said that they had never seen it this good before, expressing that he had just seen a different politician in senator Nwaoboshi. He appealed to the senator to use his good office to address the challenges he was facing in his land, particularly the dehumanising attitudes of the oil companies in his community.

In his response,  Senator Peter Nwaoboshi thanked the Monarchs for hosting him. He informed them that at the beginning the Senate was faced with leadership challenge but by the grace of God they  took the right step and that today, they  were doing fantastically well at the Senate.

He disclosed that  about four Roads have been constructed and completed in Ndokwa Land. Skill Acquisition centre for Ndokwa Youths was ongoing and that over 100 Youths of Ndokwa nation would soon embark on training and would be empowered and established by the federal Government.

He said he was not interested in receiving any Chieftaincy title from Ndokwa nation as being rumoured at the moment,  reiterating that his concern was on how to deliver his campaign promises and attract more developmental projects to his constituents. He emphatically said that he would not get involved in anything that would bring disunity, among his constituents in Ndokwa Nation. *I have over 42 Chieftaincy titles conferred on me by different Communities across the Nation*.

Even though I see them as ways of appreciating my efforts, they are not as important as deliverying my campaign promises.

The man, fondly called Oracle turned Miracle in Delta polititics further proudly informed his audiance that 100 youths were selected from Ndokwa nation for the federal  government establishment amnesty programme, which was part of his efforts to see that his people were not short-changed.

The Aguanyijiejemba of Ibusa, Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi on a quick response to the King of Umuebu Kingdom's plea assured that, by the Grace of God, he would handle his request by discussing with the Oil Companies to do their social responsibilities in all the Communities in Ndokwa where they operate.

Finally, he requested for a periodic enlarged meeting of traditional rulers and Community development union heads to enable him brief them on developmental projects since Ndokwa nation was a peculiar area in his Senatorial district and in his office as the Senate Committee Chairman on Niger Delta affairs.
