DELTA LAWMAKER DONATE CHAIRS, TEACHERS DESK TO SCHOOLS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY

In a bid to ensure students get sound and quality education devoid of hitches, the lawmaker representing Ndokwa West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Azuka Azaka on Thursday commenced the first phase of donation of Chairs to students and teachers desk at selected public primary and secondary schools in his constituency.

Azaka who was speaking to news men after the donations noted that, "the distribution of the Chairs and Desk is inline with my commitment to uplifting the learning condition of school pupils in my constituency and support the SMART agenda policy of the State Governor in the Education sector.

"Every Deltan can testify to the fact that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is doing everything within his powers to ensure students in the state get sound and quality education and supporting the Governor in achieving the Delta state of our dreams should be the desire of every Deltan who actually want the state to move forward.

"These are my constituents and I am always happy whenever they are happy so I will continue to do everything possible within my jurisdiction to always put smiles on their faces.

"A total of twenty six(26) schools has been earmarked to benefit from the first phase of the distribution while other schools would be accommodated in subsequent phases", he said.

Hon. Azaka tasked the benefitting schools to make judicious use of the items donated while restating his commitment to ensuring the delivery of Democratic dividends and development to his Constituents.

The Honourable member used the opportunity to reassure his constituents of effective and adequate representation at the State Assembly, urging them to continue to give the needed support to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as he is determined to take the state to enviable height.

Receiving the chairs, the benefitting communities thanked the lawmaker for coming to the aid of the schools in their places. They however applauded the lawmaker, for the choice of their communities as beneficiaries of the laudable project even as they gave assurance of their continued support to the lawmaker and the government of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
