The Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Social Media, Comr Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu has felicitated with the good people of Delta State on the auspicious occasion of their 26 years together as a state. This was contained in a message made available to newsmen.
Comr. Asiuwhu who described the peaceful co-existence of Deltans for such a long period of time as a rare case of unity, called on all to sustain the love already being shown.
"Today, I write to celebrate with Deltans on our 26 years of being together. It is no small feat, it is an evidence of our strong belief in unity and collective progress. Although we have had little issues of communal misunderstandings, but the bonds that binds us together have always been stronger than the interests which could have separated us. It is on this note that I humbly wish to felicitate with my brothers and sisters who have defied all odds surmounted against them to ensure our state remains one."
While charging Deltans to keep away from acts which would bring the state to a disrepute, the erudite Comrade further congratulated the Delta State Governor for his contribution to the Delta State project
"As we celebrate today, I want to charge you all to continue in your numerous acts which have continually put our state in the limelight positively, and to desist totally from whatever would drag the repudiation of the state into the mud."
"On behalf of the Office of the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Social Media, the Delta State Social Media community and the good people of Delta State in general, I want to wish the Chief celebrant, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and the ever entrepreneurial people of our state a happy celebrations" the statement concluded.
