DELTA @26: WE HAVE SUSTAINED THE BOND OF UNITY, GARNISHED WITH INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT---------- ONYEME ..........As He Felicitates With Dr Ifeanyi Okowa And Deltans In General

The Executive Chairman Delta State Board of Internal Revenue DBIR Sir Monday John Onyeme has felicitated with the Delta State Governor Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and Deltans in General on the auspicious Occassion of the State 26th Anniversary Celebration.

Onyeme in his Congratulatory message yesterday 27/8/17 said Delta state is today celebrating her 26th year anniversary. Created on the 27th of August, 1991, with her first Military Administrator, Group Captain Luke Chijoba Ochulor, he noted that despite our Language, Religious and Cultural Differences we as a People have sustained the bond of Unity by living together as Brothers and Sisters since the State was Created.

While Congratulating the Delta State Governor Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and Deltans in General for the milestone achievements recorded since the State was Created, he maintained that the State was left with nothing when it was created out from the Old Bendel State but today the State has recorded tremendous Progress in terms of Infrastructural Development.

Furthermore, he lauds the efforts of other Past Governor's who has Contributed immensely to the Progress of the State, he said the Present administration under the leadership of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is working round the clock in ensuring that the State is enviable by others in terms of Infrastructural Development noting that despite the Paucity of funds the Projects Executed by Dr Ifeanyi Okowa's led administration are visible and can be seen in all nooks and crannies in the State " Okowa  has attracted foreign and Local investors to the State as Part of his effort towards building infrastructures and creating jobs for the youths "Onyeme enthused.
