The SSA On Youth Development, Hon Innocent Esewezie yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Obi of OGBELEANI KINGDOM to intimate him on the already established developmental strides that will yield positive and sustainable development to the good people of Illah and Delta North as a whole. While addressing the council of elders on the Governor's develomental strides within the state, the Gov's Aide Hon Innocent Esewezie appealed to the Illah community and the entire Delta North that they are in the successful plans of His Excellency Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and our distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
The palace was pleased to hear the measures put in by the Delta State Government to tackle issues bothering the state and community. stating that the Illah people will be at their best to uphold the Governor's achievement in recent times saying *" It take one man to assume a position, but it takes many to make it worthwhile".*
The Governor's Aide, having heard all that was said, appreciated the warm welcome given to him by the Royal palace and emphasized on the great synergy that lies between the Governor and our able Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial district. He went further to state that both hands are on deck in ensuring a smooth and fast development within Delta North and beyond.
He advised some youths who were present at the palace and elders to key into the ongoing voters registration, stating clearly that irrespective of party affiliation, it is the sole responsibility of illah Community and Delta North as an entity to participate in the ongoing voters registration exercise. Pleading with all to be an ambassador of peace.
The Gov's Aide went further to appreciate their Agricultural potentials toward sustaining the Local Government and being a food basket, assuring them it won't be seen as an oversight, rather ways and measures will be put in place by the State Government to encourage farmers to be yielding much farm produce that will not just sustain the Local Government but the nation as a whole.
Before leaving the palace, the SSA on Youth Development Hon Innocent craved the indulgence of his Royal Highness to have a meeting with the youths, where sensitive issues will be discussed on the General welfare and progress of the Illah Community and beyond.
