The Igwete of Amai Kingdom HRM Paul Solomon Ifeneziuche, during a brief chat with Igwete media team, congratulates the entire good people of Ukwuani local Government Area of Delta State on a peaceful and triumphant entry into the 11th month (November), 2017.
The Monarch while thanking God for his divine peace, love and provision all through the month of October equally prayed to God to continue to sustain his divine peace in Amai Kingdom and Ukwuani Local Government Area at large. Wishing everyone good health, soundness of mind, body and soul.
In his new month message, the Igwete of Amai Kingdom expressed overwhelming joy in what he described as "prayer answered" over the manner in which the aged crisis, hostilities and rumours of war that has over the years enveloped Ukwuani Local Government Area, involving sister communities, is close to a permanent end through the dialogue that have been initiated by the Delta State Government.
The Monarch said that his utmost goal since his emergence five years ago as the Igwete II of Amai Kingdom has been to work out modules through the assistance of Igwete In-council and the entire Kingdom in permanently resolving the aged crisis.
He thanked the Delta State Government for prioritizing the land dispute saga in a bid to permanently resolve the land dispute which has in time past created disunity and hostilities among the affected communities, to enable all parties involved to receive equal fairness and satisfaction as that alone, without any form of partiality will bring about the needed lasting solution.
He however, urged the State Government to ensure that every resolution reached so far be implemented without sweeping it under the carpet or relaxing the course due to the current peace.
In addition, he disclosed that he will continue to work in partnership with neighbouring community authorities and the State Government in fishing out any element who tries to further instigate crisis or cause disunity, not withstanding his or her position or disposition.
The Monarch appealed to various Stakeholders that has contributed to the success so far not to relent at this point, but work harder to ensure that the people continue to live together in peace, because peace anywhere is indeed priceless.
The Igwete of Amai Kingdom further disclosed that the Igwete In-council (Amai traditional rulers council) consisting of the chiefs and high chiefs of Amai Kingdom, have pledged allegiance to the Delta State Government to continue in working and cooperating with them to the end. This he stated during the SSG, Rt. Hon Ovie Agas led delegates visit to Amai Kingdom on 23rd October 2017.
The Monarch also added conclusively; "I am close to my goal, I am becoming fulfilled". I sincerely wish everyone a happy new month, as well as happy New Yam Festival to the good people of Amai Kingdom.
