    GOV OKOWA'S EXECUTIVE AIDE, FRED LATIMORE OGHENESIVBE TO RECEIVE AWARD OF CIDA PROFESSIONAL FELLOWSHIP



    Executive Assistant (Communications) to His Excellency the Governor of Delta State, Dr (Barrister) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe is to be bestowed with the prestigious Professional Fellowship Award of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (CIDA) in Nigeria.

    A letter signed by CIDA's Registrar, Mrs Justina Coursey commended Oghenesivbe's contributions towards the growth of political communication in Nigeria and Africa democratic society.

    "I am directed to inform you that the Governing Council of CIDA has nominated you for the Award of Professional Fellowship, FCIDA in recognition of your enviable contributions towards the growth of Political Communication in Nigeria and the African continent," Mrs Coursey said.

    The award and decoration ceremony will take place in November at CIDA Nigeria ceremonial hall in Lagos.

    CIDA is a regional body with offices in Nigeria and Ghana, training Africans for leadership roles and governance.

    Recipients of FCIDA in the past three decades are men and women who have excelled in their professional field of endeavours across Africa and in the United Kingdom.

    Oghenesivbe is also a member of the American Political Science Association (APSA), Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), International Political Science Association (IPSA), et al, a lawyer and media politician.
