BREAKING: FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC KWALE, DELTA STATE (EST, ETC) BILL, 2018 (SB. 603) - SECOND READING

Yesterday, 14th Of February, 2018, at the floor of the Nigerian Senate, the Bill for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic in Kwale Delta State passed the second reading stage.

The Bill, sponsored by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi (PDP, Delta North) and titled *Federal Polytechnic Kwale, Delta State (Est, etc) Bill, 2018 (SB. 603)* was reintroduced at the floor of the Red Chambers barely after fortnight of the First Reading and similar to the First Reading, the Second Reading was equally successful.

Recall that Ndokwa Neku (The apex body representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani communities) had pleaded with distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi to see to the establishment of a federal tertiary institution in the region. It is an assignment the distinguished SPON promised to see to its fruition. Going by the speed at which the Bill is gathering momentum and the popularity of the Bill, we are deeply optimistic of achieving a milestone through the establishment of the institution in Kwale, Delta State.

One thing is certain. Senator Peter Nwaoboshi remains a golden voice in the Senate. He is a goal getter and it's only a matter of little time before this Bill becomes done and dusted.

Thank you Senator Peter Nwaoboshi. The entirety of Delta North are appreciative of your doggedness and political value at the Senate.
