COMPOSITION OF COMMITTEE ON VERIFICATION OF DATES OF BIRTH AND EMPLOYMENT OF OFFICERS IN THE DELTA STATE CIVIL SERVICE.

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the Delta State Public Service, that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, has constituted a committee to verify the dates of birth and employment of certain Public Officers in the Delta State Civil Service.

In order that the committee effectively perform its assignment, it has requested the MDAs of the affected staff to forward the Personal and Confidential files of the staff to the Office of the Chairman, Civil Service Commission, who is also the Chairman of the Committee for the Verification Exercise, on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
The Commission has however observed with dissatisfaction that the response from MDAs has not been encouraging.

Accordingly, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Extra-ministerial Departments are by this announcement enjoined to ensure that the files of all affected staff are submitted to the Secretary to the Chairman, Civil Service Commission by Thursday, October 13, 2016, without fail.

It is stressed that the Civil Service Commission will sanction any MDA that fails to comply.
