    OGOR, INSPECTS OZORO POLYTECHNIC STADIUM AHEAD OF COMMISSIONING


    MINORITY Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Leo Ogor over the weekend inspected the Multi Million Naira 14,000 Capacity, Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro Stadium and internal roads built from internally generated revenue by the polytechnic management with support from the Delta State Government.
    Hon. Ogor who was accompanied on the inspection by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr Jacob Oboreh and Engr. Peter Odunwa described the stadium and road projects as legendary, unprecedented and a boost to the sporting potentials of the area.
    He commended the Rector for his developmental strides in the Polytechnic which has placed the institution as first among equals.
    The Federal Lawmaker also paid glowing tributes to Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for creating the enabling environment for the polytechnic to thrive.
    "I commend the Rector for all his efforts towards the development of this polytechnic. We are proud of his achievements and I must also thank our amiable Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his support for the polytechnic which has ensured prompt completion of the projects.
    "Every Isoko man today is proud of his achievements because he has indeed distinguished himself as a developer, shining light and a role model.''
    In a brief interview with the Rector, Dr Oboreh said his vision was to transform the polytechnic to an enviable one adding that "within the last three years, the polytechnic have been transformed from what it used to be to a modern, prestigious and fastest growing institution in Nigeria with numerous befitting structures expected of a 21st century tertiary institution.''
