It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans that the 2017 Armed Forces Remembrance Week celebration will hold in Delta State from Thursday January 5, to Sunday, January 15, 2017.
His Excellency, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, is expected to attend the ceremony as a Special Guest of Honour and take the salute at the Grand Finale which will hold at the Cenotaph, High Court Road, off Okpanam Road, Asaba on Sunday January 15, 2017.
Accordingly, all top government functionaries, Permanent Secretaries, members of Statutory Boards and Commissions, Service Commanders and Heads of Security Agencies in the State, Chairman and members of the Nigeria Legion Delta State Chapter, members of the Clergy, Captains of Industry, Party Chieftains, the organized private sector, Stakeholders in the Delta State Project and indeed Deltans from all walks of life are by this announcement invited to attend the ceremony.
