From all indications, the member representing Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Azuka Azaka is bent on making his constituents happy this yuletide as massive distribution of food items and cash takes over the land.
Hon Azaka had earlier promised his constituents of making this year's yuletide a memorable one.
According to the Honourable member, "I made a promise to my constituents that apart from the usual empowerments which is aimed at improving their well-being and making them independent, that this year's Christmas/New Year celebrations will be a memorable one.
" This is the very reason why I have come to be with my people during this yuletide to ensure that the celebrations is worthwhile". He said.
The distribution of food items and cash which began on Thursday (22/12/2016), has so far reached several communities and wards in the Constituency. According to Hon. Azuka Azaka, "It's believed that the goodies will go round the communities that are yet to receive, so I'm pleading with everyone to exercise patience even as the sharing continues". He added.
Some of the goodies being distributed by the Honourable member who is also the Chairman House Committee On Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs include: Bags of rice, 23 Cows, 40 Goats, Cash, Chickens, among other goodies set aside for the celebrations.
