The member representing Ndokwa West constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Azuka Azaka has voiced his appreciation to the good people of Ndowa West Local Government Area of Delta State, for their supports and mandate which has brought him to the level he is today and also in effectively carrying out his duties, as their representative in the 6th Delta Assembly.
The lawmaker made the disclosure today, been the 8th June, 2017 at the capital territory of Delta State, while addressing newsmen after the House Speaker's press briefing in marking the second anniversary of the 6th Assembly.
Hon Azuka Azaka thanked the good people of Ndokwa West LGA for their support, especially the youths and women. He stated that he will continue in secure their interest in the House and work towards the advancement of Ndokwa West.
He reaffirmed his commitment to attracting development to his constituency and pledged his unwavering commitment to sponsoring bills that will further elevate his constituents and the State at large.
He said that his doors are opened to all his constituents, for making appeals, recommendations and suggestions.
He asked his people to see him as their servant that he is, and be bold enough to ask him for something more better, and to draw his attention to any of his actions that may not be welcomed, when necessary.
He further said that the State Government's massive infrastructural projects in the LGA, is a testimony of Governor Okowa's working prosperity for all Deltans Agenda. And appealed for more support to the Governor.
Meanwhile, he disclosed some of the bills that has been assented by the Delta 6th Assembly, for the good of the citizens of the state like;
1. Delta State scholarship board law, 2016.
2. Delta State security trust fund (amendment) law, 2016.
3. Delta State appropriation law, 2017.
4. Delta State anti-terrorism and anti-cultism law, 2016.
5. Delta State anti-kidnapping and hostage taking law, 2016.
6. Delta State economic planning Council (amendment) law, 2016.
7. Delta State advisory council on the prerogative of mercy law, 2016.
8. Delta State procurement commission agency law, 2015.
9. Delta State traditional rulers and chiefs (amendment) law, 2016.
10. Delta State structure for signage and advertisement agency law, 2015.
11. Delta State nursing and midwifery law, 2016.
12. Delta State structure for signage and advertisement agency (amendment) law, 2017.
He then called on the entire citizens of Delta State to support the state government with all patriotism, for the good of all.
