MID-TERM: ''OKOWA HAS SILENCED CRITICS'” – Osanebi

THE Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has said that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, within his first two years in office, has silenced critics and made them jobless due to his uncommon developmental strategy in Delta state.

The Deputy Speaker, stated this on Thursday while answering questions from press men on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the Delta State House of Assembly 6th assembly in Asaba.

According to Osanebi, “even as we continue in celebration, celebrating God’s faithfulness and love towards our governor and state, I can authoritatively say today, that Governor Okowa has dismissed and silenced critics”.

He said that the Governor has done well beyond the expectation of his admirers, within two years, adding that with the economic challenges facing the country, Governor Okowa has touched every part of the state and has not given any form of excuse as a result of the global economic downturn.

Osanebi cited examples of Governor Okowa’s SMART two years in his local government area- Ndokwa East and Ndokwa nation, adding that the governor has facilitated the construction of schools and some road construction work ongoing.

He noted that Governor Okowa’s projects are evenly distributed, across the length and breadth of Delta State, saying that he is indeed a Pan-Delta Governor and a Deltan beyond tribe.
