OKOWA @58: DESOPADEC MANAGING DIRECTOR /CEO OLOROGUN WILLIAMS MAKINDE COMMENDS DELTA STATE GOVERNOR ON VISIONARY LEADERSHIP, REAFFIRM GOVERNOR OKOWA COMMITMENT TO DEVELOP THE OIL PRODUCING COMMUNITIES THROUGH DESOPADEC:

As Delta State Governor,  Senator Dr  Arthur   Ifeanyi Okowa marks his 58th birthday, the Managing Director/CEO of Delta state oil producing areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Olorogun Williams Makinde  has described him as a great visionary administrator .

In a press statement made available to the press by  his Personal Assistant ( P.A) On media and Online Publicity Comrade Owen Oghenero Edafe the Managing Director disclosed that Okowa’s successful implementation of his SMART Agenda   in the face of low revenue receipts is legendary which has put him ahead of other governors, adding that the agenda has not only touched  the lives of  Deltans, but had also conformed with the United Nation’s eight characteristics of good governance which  are consensus oriented, participatory, following the rule of law, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability, transparency, responsiveness and equity and inclusiveness. He maintained that Okowa is committed to the development of the oil producing communities in the state through DESOPADEC.  He therefore urged the good people  of the state especially the oil producing communities  to be patient  with the Governor and the Current board of DESOPADEC .The M.D  promise the host communities and DESOPADEC Contractors of better days ahead. He wished the Governor and his family prosperous years ahead  and urged Deltans to give him the needed support.
